On Saturday, April 18, 2026, the 26th edition of the Amerongse Koploop will take place. This event is a fun and challenging trail through the forests of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park between Amerongen and Leersum. The Koploop features various distances, including a Kidsrun of 750 meters for children aged 3 to 7 years and a kidsrun of 1500 meters for youth aged 8 to 12 years. For adults, there are trail runs of 6, 10, 16, and 25 km, as well as hiking trails of 10 and 16 km. A portion of the registration fee goes to the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park Foundation, and participants will receive a sustainable GreenRace medal upon completion.
Highlights
